The Urban Renewal League

    Rotbreath, the Redcap leader of the Urban Renewal Squad and mastermind behind the slaughter of Mount Granite, learns that Charlie and Tobias both survived. The insane Carver urges Rotbreath to use the two to wipe out the corrupt nobility of Newford as their next target.  Their Goblintown-tainted rage enhances their tracking abilities, and when he arrives at the Trod at The Greening, he embarks unknowingly towards the original target of his hunt: Lenore. 

   A short time later in Newford, reports came  in of a Redcap army in the area, devouring all of the dreamstuff it could, and killing what it couldn't of the nobles it found.  This is Rotbreath, Carver, and the rest of the URL.  Back East, Alexandra, already nervous at having set Rotbreath on Lenore's trail,  flees Goblintown, terrified of the strange deformations of those fae who’ve stayed behind.  The Darkness in the lower levels has done more than merely stir: it is one of the principal reasons for Carver’s insanity and the loss of control that the URL feels in the presence of nobles--It wants to tear down Goblintown, and ALL of the fae.  It is an even darker aspect of the same force coalescing in Novi.  She follows silent in the URL's footsteps.

    This morning, the two agents of the Brotherhood of Sleep that approached Jared in his home sit in a stupor, awakening only as Rotbreath and the URL follow Charlie and Toby’s scent to his doorstep.  Smelling their strange Dreamstuff, they Reap from them, distorting their Darkened glamour even more.  Left unconscious when they leave, the two awaken and are fully Enchanted—but with Dark Glamour, rather than Bright.  The filaments of the Brotherhood now begin to taint, and soon this already unstable mystic society is going to become a force of terror for the fae world—or may be the key to true co-habitation with humanity once again.  Time alone will tell.

Their forces consist of 33 Elite warriors, mostly Redcaps, weapons-trained Nockers, and unseelie pooka, and 3 Extraordinary warriors: Rotbreath, Carver, and Alexandra.

Special Abilities: Alexandra is a talented poisoner and duelist, with posioned blades as her specialty.  Carver has some nasty weapon inventions in his sack, and Rotbreath and the rest of the Redcaps can eat anything--including live changelings, thuse banishing them into chimerical death.
