The Varich Usurpation Force

    The VUF is comprised mostly of Oathsworn commoners.  Several old guards from the years of Eilobar rule swore fealty to the new overlords during the Conflagration in order to preserve order, but otherwise the guards and knights serving Duke Geryc are Varich, Varich allies like Baron Laedekar, or desire to become such.  The rest of their ranks are a few Varich and affiliated nobles and Oathsworn commoners, who due to the nature of their Oath, must now give up their fae souls if they refuse to fight in Geryc's name--even if that fighting is against their own.

    The VUF consists of 150 Normal soldiers in the form of Oathsworn commoners, 90 Elite soldiers comprising the guard and Knightly Orders, and 17 Extraordinary soldiers, including Duke Geryc, Bethany Childs, Dana Thorvald, Baron Laedekar, Lady Carra ap'Fiona, and Edward.

Special Abilities:  The Varich Boon for Pattern-Sensing puts them at an advantage for any long melee, or long battle.  They must accept all challenges, at the price of 1 WP a day of refusal--something the Usurpers will not do.  The Oathsworn are pledge by soul, and thus will continue fighting even beyond reason.
